ACE Weekly Report: 10-18-00 All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. Attitude maneuvers were successfully executed on 10-12-00 and 10-18-00. The next attitude maneuver is scheduled for 10-24-00. On 10-12-00 ACE performed a test of the new command system, UPL-Delivery 1 at Station 27. A total of twelve NOOP commands were sent to both the Active and Inactive C&DH. DSN has scheduled the transition to the new command system in Spring 2001. Maneuver 10-12-00: Maneuver Start Time=16:09:54 Maneuver End Time=16:17:48 Pre-Maneuver HGA = -4.55 deg. Sun Angle = 10.41 deg. Post-Maneuver HGA = 4.45 deg. Sun Angle = 4.6 deg. Current S/C range: 1,420,354 km On 10-16-00 SEPICA's 30kV power supply was ramped down by the S3DPU. The Instrumenter was contacted and ramp up activities were started. It will take several days to return SEPICA's 30kV to its nominal value. FOT notified during pre-pass activities that Station 27's transmitter was down. ACE activities were transferred to Station 16. There was no impact to real-time operations (DR# G06430). Maneuver 10-18-00: Maneuver Start Time=15:55:03 Maneuver End Time=16:01:45 Pre-Maneuver HGA = -3.24 deg. Sun Angle = 7.94 deg.
