ACE Weekly Report: 07-18-01 All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. Attitude maneuvers were successfully executed on 07-06-01 and 07-13-01. The next attitude maneuver is scheduled for 07-24-01. ACE's next Z-axis control burns are scheduled for July 24th and 25th. The last Z-axis control burns were performed in February 2001. OCR ULEIS-060 executed on 07-05-01 (DOY 186) as part of diagnostic efforts to fix the ULEIS shutter motion problem. The ULEIS team has notified the FOT that they have completed their investigation. The FOT is working with the Instrument team to develop an operational procedure which will allow for the autonomous shutter algorithm to be implemented. The SEPICA Instrument team continued their ramp up activities of the 30kV power supply. Steps 1 and 2 of OCR SEPICA-088 were executed on 07-12-01; the 30kV set point was increased from 3.4 to 3.6kV. On 07-15-01 (DOY 196) the nominal ACE support on Station D16 was lost due to an Artemus spacecraft emergency. Station D27 was available for 1 hour and 15 minutes; the day's SSR dump was started but not completed. The next support was extended to allow for completion of DOY 196 SSR dump. SSR operations were nominal by the EOT on DOY 198. On 07-18-01 (DOY 199) the scheduled ACE support was lost due to the Artemus spacecraft emergency. Two supports, approximately one hour in length each, were obtained on Station D16 and D66. The nominal SSR daily dump was not completed due to insufficient time; SSR activities will be nominal by EOT on DOY 200. Anomalies 7/05 AR# G01-0051 - Workstation 2 on the prime string experienced a power failure during the support. However, there was no impact to data capture or nominal pass activities. The TSMs and hardware maintenance were notified. The problem was resolved offline. ================================================ Jacqueline Maldonado Snell Honeywell Technology Solutions Incorporated (HTSI) Goddard Space Flight Center Bldg. 3 Rm N135C, Code 428.2 Greenbelt, MD 20771 Phone: (301) 286-7072 Fax: (301) 286-0218 E-mail: Jacqueline.Snell.1@gsfc.nasa.gov
