ACE Weekly 04/04/03 - 04/10/03 All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. An attitude maneuver was performed successfully on 04/04/03. The next attitude maneuver is scheduled for 04/14/03. ============================================================================ Orbit Events: The next expected SEV transit is to occur: Entry: 06/01/03 at 1442Z Minimum angle: 2.18 degrees on 06/13/03 at 1618Z Exit: 06/25/03 at 1652Z ============================================================================ OCRs Executed: NONE ============================================================================ Ongoing Activities: TAPS: Trending, Analysis and Plotting System (TAPS) development continues with emphasis being placed on fixing the DRs attributed to the current release. Testing is progressing on both TAPS#1 and TAPS#2. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Automation (ROBOTT): Offline and HSM are scheduled to be moved to String 2 on April 15th. Command and Control is still being tested by the Automation team. Date for release to FOT for testing is still TBD. ============================================================================ Anomalies: DOY 03094 (04/04/2003) ACE Anomaly Report #G03-0023 - IMOC ADS Display Locked Up At 16:04:54, about 2 minutes before the maneuver was about to start, the star data for STAR_X had a value of 0.0000000. At the same time, the ADS displays on Strings 1 and 2 froze. Block replay of time before 16:04:00 and after 16:05:00 were performed so FDF could get the pre-maneuver solution. IMPACT: NONE. Solution obtained post-pass. Maneuver executed nominally. DOY 03095 (04/05/2003) - ACE Anomaly Report #G03-0024 DSN 26m (DSS-16) TCP Didn't Lock Up At 15:31, DSS-16 asked if the FOT was supposed to be seeing data - no data was seen by the FOT or DSS-16. DSS-16 informed the FOT that a reset on the TCP was being performed because they were not seeing telemetry input. At 15:40, the FOT started receiving data (BOT expected at 15:35) and was given a go for command. While running the procedure g_initial_contact, the first command sent (bin_clear) didn't reach the Spacecraft. Commanding was automatically paused and DSS-16 was informed. DSS-16 stated the command was received but not radiated. DSS-16 asked the FOT to resend the command. The FOT performed a /resume and verification was received from the Spacecraft. DSS-16 stated that latency was enabled after the first command failed to reach the Spacecraft. IMPACT: Delayed AOS. All command objectives met. DR# G102596 NOTE: The previous two anomalies were inadvertently reported in the previous weekly report. DOY 03099 (04/09/2003) - ACE Anomaly Report #G03-0025 DSN 26m (DSS-66) Scheduled Station RED Scheduled pass with DSS-66 was canceled due to the Madrid NFS server being declared red. DSS-24 had maintenance time scheduled but the FOT was able to obtain some of that time for a pass. IMPACT: None. Pass was rescheduled using DSS-24 and all pass objectives were met.
