ACE Weekly 10/03/03 - 10/09/03 All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. An attitude maneuver was successfully executed on 10/03/03. The next attitude maneuver is scheduled for 10/13/03. ============================================================================ Orbit Events: The next SEV transit will occur November 26th through December 20th. The minimum SEV angle expected will be approximately 1.19 degrees. ===================================================================== OCRs Executed: NONE ===================================================================== Ongoing Activities: TAPS: Release 4.1.8 was delivered on 10/07/03. The FOT is currently testing this final release to ensure all DRs flagged as "essential to transition" have been fixed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Automation (ROBOTT): - ROBOTT version 0.2 (OFFLINE) was installed September 18th on String 1. The FOT initial checkout has been completed and operational activities have been transitioned back to String 1. - Automation Team testing of HSM and Command & Control on String 3 continues. C&C is currently shadowing passes and an expected delivery date to the FOT is mid-to-late October. - The first draft of the SUG is expected soon. ===================================================================== Anomalies: DOY 03276 (10/03/2003) ACE Anomaly G03-0090 - GDS 26m (DSS-16) Hydraulic Failure on the Y-Axis Telemetry was offine from DSS-16 for 3 min. & 23 secs. IMPACT: Delayed pass activities. All data subsequently recovered. DR# N103425. DOY 03276 (10/03/2003) ACE Anomaly G03-0091 - GDS 26m (DSS-16) TCP Halt at DSS-16 DSS-16 moved to the backup TCP. IMPACT: Telemetry was offline for 1 min. & 39 secs. All data subsequently recovered. DR# G103426. DOY 03277 (10/04/2003) ACE Anomaly G03-0092 - GDS 26m (DSS-16) Y-Axis Stopped Tracking - IMPACT: Telemetry was offline from DSS-16 for 2min 3sec. All data subsequently recovered. DR# G103435. DOY 03277 (10/04/2003) ACE Anomaly G03-0093 - GDS 26m (DSS-16) DPS Session Problem on String 1 (R/T string) Data was captured on string 2 DPS for the entire pass with DSS-16. The session problem with DPS (string 1) was corrected during the pass. IMPACT: NONE DOY 03279 (10/06/2003) ACE Anomaly G03-0094 - GDS 34m (DSS-27) - APC Problems DSS-27 informed ACE FOT that the antenna went to brake with no known cause. DSS-27 recycled the antenna equipment. IMPACT: No telemetry for ~19 minutes. Delayed pass activities. All data subsequently recovered. DR# G103451 DOY 03279 (10/06/2003) ACE Anomaly G03-0095 - GDS 34m (DSS-27) - CTX Problems Degraded data throughout the pass with DSS-27. Impacts: Loss 2% of VC2 data. 2% of VC2 data loss = 4% of VC4 data loss. DR# N101470 DOY 03280 (10/07/2003) ACE Anomaly G03-0096 - IPNOCC - TLAN Problems Network problems on String 1. The CCSA informed ACE FOT that the TLAN-1 AARP had a glitch as per IPNOC. Impacts: None. ACE FOT failed-over to String 2 before the pass began.
