ACE Weekly 10/15/04 - 10/21/04 All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. An attitude maneuver was successfully executed on 10/21/04. The next attitude maneuver is scheduled for 11/05/04. ============================================================================ Orbit Events: The next SEZ crossing will occur in the Nov-Dec time frame. ===================================================================== OCRs Executed: None ===================================================================== Ongoing Activities: TAPS: - TAPS Release 4.3 was installed on the Prime System on 10/13/04. -- FOT regression testing is in progress. --- No problems to report. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Automation (ROBOTT): - ROBOTTv0.9 delivered to String 1 on 09/27/03 (OCR GND_145). -- Performing operations in "Auto" mode on String 1. -- 13 DR fixes in this release. --- 12 DRs have been verified by the FOT to date. --- The last DR to be verified will require ROBOTT to be observed over a period of time to ensure no reoccurrence of the problem. -- 10 DRs have been written against this release. ============================================================================ Extra Spacecraft Activities: None ===================================================================== Anomalies: DOY 04289 (10/15/04) ACE Anomaly G04-0088 (Appended) - ADS Failure FDF received the recurring GenSAA error message (The GenSAA IEP Server listen on port 2218 failed because System Error: Address already in use.") when they attempted to start ADS today. FDF acknowledged pop-up box and continued with task. This is the tenth documented instance since early August. IMPACT: None. DOY 04290 (10/16/04) ACE Anomaly G04-0120 - GDS 34m (DSS-27) SCP Swap DSS-27 requested authorization to swap SCP's. However, during the swap, telemetry went offline for 26 seconds. IMPACT: None. Telemetry recovered from SSR. DR#G10488 DOY 04294 (10/20/04) ACE Anomaly G04-0121 - GDS 26m (DSS-16) Antenna RED At 15:40 OPS Chief called FOT to notify them that DSS-16 was RED because of antenna hydraulic problems. FOT attempted to reschedule with DSS-24 but were unable to due to DSS-24 being down for maintenance. Additional time was scheduled for next day's pass to allow dumping of recorders. IMPACT: Lost support. DR# G104901 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Glen A. Miller ACE Flight Operations Observatory Engineer Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc.
