ACE Weekly 04/05/05 - 04/21/05 All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. ============================================================================ Orbit/Attitude: No attitude maneuvers were completed this week. The next attitude maneuver is scheduled for Friday 04/22/05. ============================================================================ OCRs: None ============================================================================ Ongoing Activities: Space Link Extension (SLE) - The NASA review of SLE Requirements was completed Tuesday 04/19/05. The design review is scheduled for Tuesday 05/10/05. ============================================================================ Extra Activities: None ============================================================================ Anomalies: DOY 105 (04/15/05) ACE Anomaly G05-0058 26m GDS DSS-16 TCP Problems Station problems with TCPs (Telemetry Control Processors). DR#G105550 IMPACT: Activities delayed 53 minutes. Pass extended to complete playback. DOY 105 (04/15/05) ACE Anomaly G05-0058 26m GDS DSS-16 CMD Mod Index Several commands did not reach the spacecraft on the initial transmission during end of day activities. This was determined (post-pass) to be due to the CMD Mod Index using 0158 Monitor Data. Commands were retransmitted until accepted, except for C&DH B LRT Poke which is programmed to not be retransmitted. DR#N102794 IMPACT: Minimal. DOY 108 (04/18/05) ACE Anomaly G05-0058 Tape Failure Recent batch of tapes (Qty 10) used for file backups and archives do not work with tape drive on string 1. Tapes do work with tape drive on string 2. IMPACT: The batch of tapes will not be used on string 1. DOY 108 (04/18/05) ACE Anomaly G05-0059 34m GDS DSS-34 TLP Reset Station performed a TLP symbol reset and successfully acquired telemetry. DR#G105553 IMPACT: Minimal. Activities delayed 5 minutes. DOY 109 (04/19/05) ACE Anomaly G05-0060 TAPS Data Capture TAPS VC2 data capture on ac1taps1 terminated on DOY 104, the day scans were performed. No problems with ac2taps2. Data capture restarted and affected data was transferred from ac2taps2 to ac1taps1. IMPACT: Minimal. All data copied from redundant TAPS.
