ACE Weekly 08/17/2007 - 08/24/2007 All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. ACE was launched 10 years ago on 08/25/1997. ============================================================================ Orbit/Attitude: No maneuvers were performed this week. The next attitude maneuver is scheduled for Friday, 08/24/2007. ============================================================================ OCRs: DOY 233 (08/21/2007) GND-185 ACE SLE v2.1 Software Install ACE SLE v2.1 user software provides the ability to send CLTUs built by TPOCC to DSN's F-CLTU Service Provider. This software is installed on 2 Red Hat Linux workstations (ac1sle1 & ac2sle2). ACE SLE v2.1 was delivered on April 28, 2006, but its use was delayed by the transition to the Restricted IONet. Telemetry will continue to be sent from DSN in the original SFDU format and will not be sent via SLE. ============================================================================ Activities: Space Link Extension (SLE) - Configuration and testing continues. After much effort, the ACE MOC was able connect to the DSN Test Facility (DTF-21) and send NO_OP commands on Wednesday 08/22/2007 and Thursday 08/23/2007. Configuration and testing will continue. Planning continues for integrating ACE operations into a multi-mission ops center (MMOC). The current TPOCC mission software will be replaced by ITOS and the ROBOTT automation software will be replaced by GMSEC tools (CAT, GREAT, ANSR, etc). The ADS attitude software will be replaced by MSASS/MTASS. The timeline for when this will occur has not yet been determined. ============================================================================ Anomalies: DOY 229 08/17/2007 S-ACE-0219 G07-0073 AC3PR3 Printer Not Printing The String 3 printer continues to have problems printing.
