The ACE MOC was used to test the new TTC. The test was delayed 23 minutes due to communications problems with the APC (Antenna Pointing Controller). The test was performed with the remaining 22 minutes. No problems were uncovered during the 45 minute demo. Note, the last TTC test with ACE was the v8.1.4 test on 09/24/2008. DOY 307 11/03/2009 - Multi-Mission Operations Center (MMOC) Test There were no problems receiving telemetry or sending commands with DSS-27. The spacecraft was commanded to high-rate and SSR data from the previous pass was redumped. The RIONet gateway request for data forwarding to the ACE Science Center test port was finally implemented. ACE real-time data was successfully processed by ASC. As usual, NOAA Space Weather also received the real-time data without problems. Another "St9bad_alloc" error occurred on the backup workstation (MMOCOPS1B). This error has not been found on the other 2 workstations (MMOCOPS1P and MMOCTC4). ======================================================================== Anomalies: DOY 301 10/28/2009 S-ACE-0468 G09-0057 DSS-27 Tracking Issues DSS-27 was unable to bring the ground antenna to point at Beginning Of Track due to problems with the Antenna Servo Drives. The station performed several resets and was finally able to bring the antenna to point. IMPACT: Activities delayed 15 minutes.
