ACE Weekly 04/05/2011 - 04/11/2011 SEPICA entered Standby mode (again) Monday 04/04/2011 (14:24:39z). Discussions are underway about powering off SEPICA permanently. All other ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. ======================================================================== Orbit/Attitude: No maneuvers were performed this week. The next attitude maneuver is scheduled for Tuesday 04/19/2011. ======================================================================= OCRs: None ======================================================================== Activities: Data Capture: 100% DOY 093-0100 2011 ======================================================================== Anomalies: DOY 094 04/04/2011 S-ACE-0596 S11-0001 SEPICA Standby Mode (updated) 2011-081-11:45:44 SEPICA switched to Standby Mode 2011-091-17:07:00 to 19:11:00 SEPICA power cycled 2011-094-14:24:39 SEPICA switched to Standby Mode again IMPACT: Discussions are underway about powering off SEPICA permanently. DOY 095 04/05/2011 S-ACE-0603 G11-0028 NOAA Space Weather Down NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC) was experiencing problems with their systems at the start of the ACE pass and the MMOC was unable to connect. The MMOC disconnected from NOAA SWPC to avoid excessive "reconnect" messages and manually reconnected when NOAA SWPC was back up at BOT+1 hour. IMPACT: The MMOC software automatically reconnects until a successful connection is established. However, it might be worth reducing the number of "reconnect" messages that the software generates. DOY 096 04/06/2011 S-WIND-0413 ITOS tm_controller Before Beginning Of Track, ITOS had problems connecting telemetry, "timeout reading from tm_controller". ITOS was stopped and restarted and the WIND pass was taken successfully. CDSID#00027515 IMPACT: Manual intervention required.
