ACE Weekly 06/26/2012 - 07/03/2012 All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing as expected. ======================================================================== Orbit/Attitude: No maneuvers were completed this week. The next attitude maneuver is scheduled for Thursday 07/12/2012. ======================================================================= OCRs: None ======================================================================== Activities: Data Capture: 100% DOY 176-183 2012 ======================================================================== Anomalies: Update on AR#S12-0001 S-ACE-0639 SWEPAM-E Overcount Alarm The SWEPAM-Electron overcount threshold was increased to 255 (the maximum value for instrument flight code v1.14) on Monday 6/25/2012 but the overcount alarm continues to flag. The instrument team believes that one of the sensor channels has become noisy. The team is preparing to dump the executable code stored in RAM (0x8000-98ff). The plan is to modify the memory to increase the overcount threshold. IMPACT: The instrument automatically reduces voltages when the overcount alarm occurs. The following issue was not included in the previous weekly: DOY 170 06/18/2012 S-ACE-0644 G12-0006 DSN not forwarding tracking On Wednesday 6/20, FDF reported no ACE tracking data for two days (6/18 and 6/19). DSN was notified and they restarted the process that queries the ACE tracking data and sends it to the SFG (Special Function Gateway). ACE tracking data from 6/18 and 6/19 was retransmitted to FDF. IMPACT: No impact to operations. FDF received the missing data. DOY 181 06/29/2012 S-ACE-0645 G12-0007 DSS-27 Azimuth Drive The ground station's azimuth drive was not working at beginning of track. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) was replaced. DR#G112917 IMPACT: Activities delayed 25 minutes. Data playback completed on following pass. No impact to NOAA SWPC space weather since spacecraft still in RTSW format.
