Network problems at the start of the D-15 pass on DOY 13 became apparent, causing early connection attempts to NOAA and Caltech to fail. The connections were successful during the 15:43 - 15:47 (UT) time window. In addition, a delay in notification emails was observed, which persisted throughout the day. Note that there was no scheduled network maintenance work during the D-15 contact time. Impact: Minimal - Delay of automated operations-related notification emails. NOAA and Caltech did not received forwarded data during the outage (from approximately 15:20 UT through 15:47 UT). - 01/13/2016 - SOAR S-ACE-92 - DSN MDS1 (Monitor Data Server) Failure (DR# G116882) Loss of monitor and ranging data due to a DSN MDS1 (Monitor Data Server) failure. DSN reported downtime from 16:57 to 18:11 UT (74 minutes total; Ref: DSN DR# G116882). As a result of this failure, a problem on the SLE command connection occurred at 17:07 (UT). The SLE connection was restored at 17:51 (UT), as verified at the MMOC. Impact: Minimal - No DSN monitor data available to the FOT during the 16:57 (UT) ¡© 18:11 (UT) time frame, and no commanding/forward link during the 17:07 (UT ) - 17:51 (UT) time window (but ultimately, with no impact to achieving the planned contact commanding goals).
