No impact to playback data stream. FOT worked with WS1 personnel to troubleshoot realtime telemetry issue; mmoc_fanout manually restarted. Realtime data back on line once mmoc_fanout connection restarted. IMPACT: Minimal. SSR in record during dropout. No impact to playback data stream. 02/20/2017 DOY 051 SOAR S-ACE-93-CTT-10 DSN Problem D15 - Goldstone Complex (recurring) Sixteen minute telemetry dropout occurred at BOT (1626-1642z). D15 unable to lock on high data rate shortly after BOT. Station added a second receiver during its troubleshooting process. Station finally locked on to high rate data at 1644z (DR# G117921). IMPACT: Support activities delayed ~16 minutes; SSR Playback did not complete during support. Sixty-eight SSR slices carried over to following support (~17 minutes playback carryover). All data successfully recovered. 03/06/2017 DOY 066 SOAR S-ACE-98-CTT-3 Realtime and Playback Telemetry Static during WS1 support MMOC experienced intermittent realtime and playback telemetry dropouts during the WS1 support. While FOT has previously seen issue with realtime data stream, first WS1 support where playback data affected. FOT worked with WS1 personnel to troubleshoot telemetry issues; mmoc_fanout manually restarted multiple times. IMPACT: Playback redumps are nominally performed only once. However, due to intermittent dropouts during playback recovery activities, FOT manually updated s_dumplist procedure to ensure full data recovery.
