ACE Weekly 02/04/2009 - 02/09/2009 All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. ============================================================================ Orbit/Attitude: No maneuvers were performed this week. The next attitude maneuver is scheduled for Monday 02/16/2009. =========================================================================== OCRs: None ============================================================================ Activities: Data Capture: 100% DOY 033-039 2009 An ACE Multi-Mission Ops Center (MMOC) test is scheduled for Friday 02/20/2009. This will test DSN configuration changes that should allow VC1 (realtime) and VC2 (playback) data to be saved to separate CDR files after the transition to SLE. ============================================================================ Anomalies: DOY 035 02/04/2009 S-ACE-0414 G09-0010 DSS-27 Antenna Stop The ground antenna stopped tracking unexpectedly. The antenna was reset and tracking again within 13 minutes IMPACT: Minimal. The playback had already completed and no commanding was necessary during this time. DOY 040 02/09/2009 S-ACE-0415 G09-0011 AC1WS3 Frozen The ACE MOC computer used for operations (ac1ws3) was frozen. The automation software notified the FOT at 30 minutes before Beginning Of Track (BOT-30min). SysAdmins were available and the computer was rebooted (BOT-10min). The automation software did not successfully initialize and manual intervention was required. The automation software successfully started at BOT+15min and pass activities started at BOT+30min. IMPACT: Manual intervention was required. The pass was during staffed hours and the pass was not lost. Due to activities delayed 30 minutes, the playback was completed on the following pass.
