The minimum science mission is a subset of the baseline science requirements, limited to those with higher expected SNR. minimum science mission - Parameter estimation is still the primary goal (e.g. MBH mergers at SNR > 100). There will be some loss of science information due to lower SNR.
Current implementation for a minimum mission is a full 3-arm configuration. The noise performannce specified for 'X' configuration is as for baseline. There is no fundamental change in approach for control of systematic effects relative to the baseline mission.
