LISA International Science Team Meeting
10 & 11 December, 2005

There will be a meeting of the LISA International Science Team on 10 & 11 December 2005 at Caltech, Pasadena, Southern California. Maps of Caltech can be found here. Most of the meetings will take place in Lauritsen Laboratory. Lauritsen Laboratory is located on California Blvd just north of the intersection of California Blvd and Arden Road. You can enter Lauritsen from the California Blvd entrance.

The meeting on 10 December will be open, while the meeting on 11 December is reserved for an executive session of the LIST. Individuals planning to attend the open meeting on 10 December are requested to send an email to Suzy Bagdasaryan:

  • Campus Map and Parking

A map of Caltech, including parking information can be found here. You will need to purchase a parking permit on Friday, but not for the LIST meetings on Saturday or Sunday. The best choice for parking is Lot 3 (under the baseball field on the South side of California Boulevard; enter at the driveway at the traffic light on California Boulevard between Wilson Ave and Arden Ave; drive straight along the edge of the baseball field to the end of the driveway, and turn right to enter the underground garage). This has the three advantages of (1) being closest to Downs/Lauritsen where the meetings will be held, (2) having a permit pay station and (3) being new and undersubscribed, so there are generally open spaces. You can park in any of the unmarked spaces. Then you go to the automated pay station in the garage and buy a permit ($5 for full day; or $1 per hour if staying <4 hours), and display it in the window of your car to avoid getting a citation. The pay stations accept cash and credit card.
