LISA newsletters and brochures
Newsletters
Issue 2 December 2006
How can LISA help us learn more about massive black holes? And what are
the possibilities for new physics - such as predictions from string theory
- using LISA observations of the early universe? Now's your chance to find
out - in the second LISA newsletter for 2006 (download here as PDF 1.5 MB)
which has just been published. Also, check out the news about LISA
technology development, from Laser Interferometry to the ground tests of
the gravitational reference sector - and see what's been happening with the
Mock LISA Data Challenges and at the Sixth International LISA Symposium
Issue 1 May 2006
In this first issue we report on the status of LISA Pathfinder and provide a summary of ongoing LISA formulation studies at EADS Astrium and an update on LISA micro-Newton thruster technology. Science topics include an introduction to
extreme-mass ratio inspirals, a summary of a year of breakthroughs in numerical relativity and an update on LIST
data-analysis activities.
Mission brochures
Both NASA and ESA have produced brochures that give background information
on the LISA mission and the science it hopes to achieve.
