Professor  Harrison's  primary reseach interests are in experimental and observational high-energy astrophysics.  She is developing optics and detectors for future balloon- and satellite-borne X-ray and gamma-ray missions.  In addition, she has an active observational program in gamma-ray, X-ray, and optical observations of gamma-ray bursts, active galaxies, and neutron stars.  You can find out more about specific projects, as well as what she is teaching below.
